Wiki Rules

Please follow these rules when editing or creating articles. Our Wiki Staff have the final say in punishments. You may be blocked for something that is not on the list, but is sufficient to warrant such actions. Loopholing any rules will result in a punishment too.

1) No vandalism
2 week block

Do not vandalise the wiki. Vandalising includes adding unnecessary song lyrics, posting overly large images or adding falsified information. This can include jokes, or a fake statistic. If you wish to suggest, discuss it instead. If it is obvious that it is vandalism, a block will be issued.

2) No Spamming
3 day block

Examples of spamming include flooding articles or discussions, sending the same message over and over again, or re-uploading files multiple times. Encouraging people to spam is not allowed - this will warrant a warn, that is shorter. Repeats of this action can lead to a warn or a temporary ban.

3) Follow the guidelines

When editing, please follow the guidelines posted here. Examples include using British English over American English, or using the correct terms. These Guidelines help make our wiki readable and accessible, while allowing anyone to contribute.

4) Accuracy
Case-by-case basis

When editing, please maintain a Neutral point-of-view (NPOV) and ensure that all the articles come from verified sources. A 'NPOV' means that content is written objectively and without bias, merely presenting the facts and notable viewpoints of others. no articles should contain not contain articles that favour particular viewpoints. Striving for a neutral point-of-view helps prevent articles from becoming viewpoints and personal talk pages.
Also ensure that articles should contain only material that has been published by reliable sources, such as the developers. For example, no self made lore on the site, with the exception of discussion pages/profiles. Verified sources include but are not limited to the Dovedale Community Discord Server and the Roblox page. When editing, you should provide citations as far as possible.
You are also NOT to use any source of artificial intelligence program such as ChatGPT, Bing AI, Google Bard or Midjourney unless prior permission has been obtained. Such content is prohibited on the wiki as it might constitute as plagarism in the form of images, or may be inaccurate when consulting text based AI.

5) Be Civil
Case-by-case basis

Being civil entails remaining polite and assuming good faith when interacting with others, and focusing on the content of edits rather than on personal issues. In its essence, participate in a respectful and considerate way, without ignoring the positions and conclusions of others. If you are caught up in any arguments, please try not to escalate it - and if necessary staff are always here to help. You should not use slurs, and keep swearing to a minimum - so as to respect others. Being civil also entails not discussing topics that may start arguments, such as community drama, politics or sensitive topics. This rule applies to anywhere where any file, text or form of media can be inputted and displayed on the website. For example: comments, discussion posts, User pages, User blogs.

6) Do not leak information

Using the Wiki as a platform to promote or post your leaked information is strictly not allowed - for example Staff Codes to be used in game, or another users personal information.

7) NO NSFW
Permanent Ban

Posting NSFW - Not Safe For Work or suggestive content on the Wiki is strictly NOT allowed. This rule applys to any image show on site - include profile pictures.

8) No Underage Users
Ban until you are of age

While you may access the website and its services, an account is encouraged for the full suite of services like chatting and profiles. You will need to be over 13 to have an account with us. If you are in Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus (All), Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, the minimum age is 16.

9) No use of AI

Use of large-scale language-generation artificial intelligence models is strictly prohibited to answer questions, write articles, write code or input any text on the wiki without prior authorisation from staff members. Such language models may be inaccurate, incorrect, and generally provide little to no value to any page. You as a user take full responsibility of any content you insert into the site, including any content generated by artificial intelligence.

Game Rules

The following rules are provided for your convenience. Please ensure they are accurate. Disclaimer: In the case that this in inaccurate, the original rules published by game developers and staff stand.

1.1 Follow all Roblox terms of service.

1.2 Do not troll - examples include taking over boxes without permission, intentionally ruining gameplay for others.

1.3 Do not abuse the ‘Admin Call’ system.

1.4 Moderators have the final say. Please listen to them.

1.5 Do not spam whistles or horns. It can get annoying to those around you.

1.6 Players Spamming in-game chat is forbidden.

1.7 Signallers should signal to the best of their ability.

1.8 Be nice to everyone in-game. Racism, homophobia and NSFW topics will result in moderation.

Discord Rules

1) Roblox and Discord terms of service apply.

2) Keep this server a friendly environment for everybody. Please do not spam or troll.

3) Do not flood the chat. Anything over 6 lines that is not related to the current topic should not be sent.

4) Do not use offensive language, or express hate to anyone. Racial slurs can result in a ban.

5) Swearing is allowed, but keep it to a minimum, and not direct it to anybody!

6) Please use channels for their intended purpose.

7) Advertising is strictly forbidden without permission from HRs+. This includes but is not limited to posting a game or discord link.

8) Scamming and malicious links are strictly forbidden and can result in a ban.

9) For moderation purposes, please speak English in the server. Translation apps might help if you have issues.

10) Talking about politics is strictly forbidden.

11) No technicalities or loopholes will be accepted as excuses to break the rules. Moderators have the final say. Please listen to them.

12) Do not evade punishments. Joining on an alt or generally evading punishments will result in a ban.

13) Avoid drama. Drama makes the server feel like a hostile environment which is not what we want to promote.

14) No cold / empty pings. Cold / empty pings annoy everyone.
