Roles are indicators of a user's position and jobs. There is a variety of Roles, some of which are Staff Team. Below is a list of Roles and their purposes.
Qualified Signaller
Qualified Signallers are players who have passed QS applications and then QS Assessments. These players have a variety of privileges such as having swords in-game to respawn trollers and being able to access some signal boxes locked by staff members.
Translator
Translators are players who help localise different aspects of the game into a variety of different languages.
Tester
Testers are players who help test unreleased builds of the game on the testing branch. They look for bugs and issues for the Developers to resolve. Applications for this role open periodically.
Content Creator
Content Creators are players who upload Dovedale related content to various social media platforms such as YouTube. These players have access to freecam in-game for content creation purposes. Players may apply for this role through tickets assuming they meet the requirements.
Socials Team
Socials Team, formerly Media Team, manage and create content for the official Dovedale social media accounts. This includes shooting and editing videos as well as writing posts. Applications for this role open occasionally.
