The Satus Signal Box is the first 'Real' Signal Box that players can unlock, housing around 15 Semaphore Stop Signals, 4 Distant Semaphore Signals, 5 Shunt Signals and 3 switches. It controls Satus Services, Jaiden's House, Steynbath Crossing and the entrance to Fanory Mill. The line which the box controls is almost entirely single track and traffic builds up easily due to the spawn points at Fanory Mill, which often leads to the line being blocked to oncoming traffic from Fanory Mill or Dovedale East.
It previously had a 750 XP requirement, but in an unknown update it was increased to 1250 XP.
Trivia
- Satus Signal Box is statistically rated as the worst signal box in the game, this is generally due to how cyanotic it does trying to deal with all the steam trains trying to enter the mainline from the spawn point.
- Satus Signal Box is rated as the best 'Real' Signal box to start in if anybody is new.
- Satus signal box has a plaque dedicated to the grandfather of one of the games administrators, Coldy.
- According to a sign on the front of it, the address of the signal box is "10 Satus View Drive".
