To load and unload cargo.For unloading and loading maritime cargo. It was planned to be integrated with a freight line.

Cosdale Harbouris a Cargo Harbour situated on the Cosdale Peninsular. It is served by the Cosdale Harbour (Station) with services to and from Dovedale Central and Dovedale East.
Prior to V2, the Harbour was located near Dovedale East. Its original purpose was for trains to load cargo from ships. The harbour used to house a tunnel, a crane holding a train and a large ship.
On the 13th November 2023, the land was purchased by Satus Locomotive Services, with plans to utilise the area for their yard operations. Upon the closure of SLS, the area was handed back to Dovedale Railway.
In version 2.0 the area was updated alongside the opening of the new Cosdale Harbour Station, this involved the complete replacement of the old harbour for a much larger one. This new harbour included a road and rail network, a checkpoint, unique branding, industrial warehouses and facilities, large blue cranes for loading and unloading shipping containers and shipping container storage.
The rail network in the harbour can be accessed through a gate just west of the main checkpoint that can only be opened by staff members. The line leading out of the gate connects to Cosdale Harbour station. The rail network in the harbour is composed of 2 lines, one leads to a warehouse on the Eastern side of the harbour which has a platform for loading and unloading cargo while the other line heads up to the northern edge of the harbour before turning left and following alongside the coast. Unlike previous versions of Cosdale Harbour, the network is completely un-signalled.
Trivia
- Cosdale Harbour was planned to have freight trains come there to pick up freight[1][2]. However, this was never implemented in the game.
- The collisions for the cargo ship in the older harbour were disabled due to large amounts of lag before it was removed entirely.
- The tracks and points around the harbour are actually functional, although it is stated in the Cosdale Harbour Signal Box special instructions that only staff are permitted to use them.
- While Cosdale Harbour has a rail network, it is not designed for traffic use as the curves are too tight.[3]
- The yellow crane found above the tracks just after the rail entrance to Cosdale Harbour used to be part of the SLS Yard, specifically in the shed.
