Closest Station
The Cosdale Harbour Yard, formerly SLS Maintenance Yard was a train maintenance yard used by Satus Locomotive Services and located in the former docks area. It closed on 2 January 2024[1] and most rolling stock was removed from the yard, leaving it empty. The yard and the ground frame are both currently still present in-game, however the area is now referred to as simply "Cosdale Harbour" in signage. The yard is currently being decommissioned and is expected to be fully removed in the next major update to the game as it is now mostly unused and serves no further purpose.
Usage
The yard was used for a variety of purposes pertaining to the operation and maintenance of the SLS fleet. SLS trains and rolling stock were frequently spawned in the sidings or shed at the yard before being driven onto the mainline towards Satus Services.
Yard Signal Box
The signal box is located near the shed in the yard. This allowed the control of the various points and signals located around the yard. The signal box's operation was locked to specific ranks. This was also true for the SLS groundframe which is located at the point where the line to the yard branches off from the Dovedale East to Satus Services line.
Trains Displayed
A number of trains were displayed around the yard, with all but one being removed upon the yard's closure. Below is a list of the trains previously viewable.
