Update 2.0.0 is an upcoming major update to the game. It is expected to bring major changes to all game mechanics, such as a brand new Driving System, a brand new Signalling System, a major Station revamp to almost every station, brand new trains and scenery updates.
The update has been in development for many months, and a few teasers have been published.

Class 142
On the 31st January 2025, a Sneak Peek was posted of a Yellow, Blue & White Class 142 at Perthtyne.
Scenery
On the 23rd of November 2025, a Developer posted a sneak peek of a Coal Power plant, with a Class 158 in the foreground. It is unknown where the screenshot was taken.
