Class 158

The Class 158 Express Sprinter was a diesel multiple unit (DMU) in the Sprinter family of trains that could previously be spawned at Dovedale Central ('Barbie' livery) and Masonfield ('Saltire' livery). It was designed for regional routes and had a maximum speed of 75 mph, and had no routing limitations. The train was removed as part of update 1.3.9 due to the model's creator demanding its removal.

The ScotRail 'Barbie' livery was the first livery of the Class 158 to be released. It featured an interior with red seats, though players could not sit on them.

In version 1.1.4, a new version of the train with a livery similar to the Scotrail 'Saltire' livery was added that can be spawned at the Masonfield sidings. It had an interior with blue seats and a blue floor.

Trivia

The 158 was shown in the Dovedale Update Trailer.
The Class 158, along with the Class 156 and Class 150 are all the members of the Sprinter family of trains.
The 'Barbie' livery version of the train used to get stuck at Dovedale East Crossing before this was patched in late April of 2024^[1].
This train was listed as removed in Version 2.0 along with the Class 156, Class 375 and Class 377.
