Dovedale Automatic barrier crossing locally monitored (ABCL) crossing is a crossing located on the Mazewood branch line from Dovedale Central. It is located early in the branch from the Dovedale Central side and is in the urban Dovedale area.
Operations
There is a signal at either side of the crossing that informs the driver as to the crossing's operation. Drivers are responsible for ensuring that the crossing is clear. When the light is flashing white, that means that the barrier has operated. If the light is flashing red, that means that the barrier has not operated.
There are a pair of visual warning equipment on each side of the crossing as well as a single half-barrier.
