Narmouth Crossing is a railway crossing on the line between Fanory Mill and Benyhone Loop. Whilst it was originally planned to be a semi-automatic crossing, it has been changed to be manually operated.
Operations
The crossing is controlled by Fanory Mill Signal Box and can be operated using the Crossing Operations Panel that is located there.
Trivia
- An unused street running track, often called the tram line, diverted from the line on the crossing in pre-2.0, sometimes used by small admin trains.
- The level crossing had an admin only feature to keep one barrier open to allow trains from the mainline to enter the tram line.
