The Releovka, also known as the Relay Signalling System, was an old signalling system previously found at the old Dovedale Central. Designed to make signalling a lot easier, it used buttons to route trains and set signals. However, it was not possible for the signaller to see if trains were waiting to be routed at the stations (Masonfield, Gleethrop End, Lighthouse and the sidings/turntable).
To route trains, you would have set the blue button as the starting point, and the white button as its ending point, ensuring there is a feasible path. After doing that, pressing the green button would have changed the switches to the right path and set the signals to clear. (it would have taken a moment to do this.) To clear the route, you pressed the red button (it also took a moment to do this).
The board also had an integrated system to set Destination Boards. You could set each row up with a train service. Each update button will update the specific thing is does for the row that you chose. When a train was arriving, the flash button could be toggled.
This system was first suggested by former staff member praha2008 in June 2023.
