Destination boards were an old feature that worked in tandem with the now removed Releovka System. They were used to show estimated times, service type, platform and destination.
Data would be manually entered by the signaller through the machine.
To use the machine, users would need to click what they were going to toggle, and then flip the switches below until they are at the right selection.
They were previously located at Dovedale East and Dovedale Central. The board at Dovedale Central was connected with the Releovka System.
Trivia
- Using the machine was very resource intensive according to signage posted around.
