Pro Servers were a set of servers that allow only experienced players to join. Anyone with more than 5,000 XP could join the server, with the intention for more realistic roleplay and gameplay [1]. However, in reality, they were heavily underutilised and buggy, and due to the size of the game at the time, players rarely use this feature.
These were added in the Winter 2023 update, [2] and then removed with the introduction of Version 2.0.0.
Trivia
- While you could join Pro Servers from a regular server, you have to leave and rejoin if you would like to go from a Pro Server to a regular server.
- There was no distinct way to tell apart a Pro Server from a regular server.
- Some players have used Pro Servers as their own free 'private server', due to the underutilisation of this feature.
