The Red Steamer was a cancelled plan remake version of the steam train, making this the third version of the train. Plans for this train were scrapped and development was re-focused on other trains. The train was noticeably very broken, with it missing sounds, features and detailing. In addition, many decorative parts were not anchored, making it hard to drive the train. The train also did not fit on some platforms during its time due to its width, such as the Dovedale East platform.
Like the Steam Train and Class 156, this train had the old coupling system, which allowed it to couple to the Class 156, the Steam Train, as well as the Blue Carriage.
Trivia
- There was never any horn for this train in game.
- You could not swap sides with this train in game.
- The sounds on this model are different from Steam Train.
