The Class 150 is a diesel multiple unit (DMU) train added in V2.0. The train is formed of two coaches and has a top speed of 80 mph. It is the only train in the game to have multiple sub-classes, denoted by the 4th digit of the unit number. The class 150/1 was originally made in 1985; they have a unique cab design, a flat front and slam doors for the crew. The 150/2 was created in 1987 and 85 units were produced. They improved considerably on the design including a gangway to allow passenger movement between coupled units, electric sliding crew doors and a new cab design.
Originally it was planned to enter service in the game around the time of the 1.0 update, and was tested on the Fanory Mill Test Track. This older model was a class 150/1 and had no interior.
